Half Bath Laundry Room Combo Makeover Reveal
Below are the details and after/before photos of my design solution for this half bath laundry room makeover.Laundry baskets and dirty laundry were always on the floor of bathroom since there was really no place to keep it.The dryer door opened over the toilet making it difficult to empty the dryer.Custom cabinet and counter retained if not gained more storage space.

Building our bath and laundry room
No home is complete without a proper bath and laundry room.We must have spent at least a week researching options for thinset, grout, backer board and the tile itself.Since the washer and dryer take up most of the room below, we chose a vessel sink for the counter. This did leave some room in the ceiling in the bathroom so we added some fold down drawers here too.We finished off the bathroom by designing and building a pocket door with translucent panels to let the light through.

Before and After: Updating a Half-Bath and Laundry
Jess says that when they moved into their house, the half-bath/laundry room was “so bad we just had to laugh about it.”The mural on the walls extended all the way to the ceiling, complete with blue skies and birds, which, while well painted, weren’t really their style.Updating a Half Bath with Laundry ClosetThe laundry closet in the bathroom was pretty stark and basic,so it was due for an overhaul, too:She says, “After 1 1/2 years of laughing about it, we decided we had to do something.
