I’ll save some of my guest room essentials for a different post, but you may get an idea of some I have tucked around the room.

Our Guest Bedroom Reveal

While the space is only a temporary solution until we buy our more permanent residence and have an actual guest room, I absolutely love the way it turned out!!on soft to firmness, quilted vs. pillow top, etc., Mattress Firm dreamed up the perfect mattress for our guest room.

In truth, my plan was to wait to set the mattress up at our guest room in our new home, but after feeling how amazingly comfortable it was, the mattress inspired us to go ahead and create a guest room space (I just couldn’t wait to put it to use!!)Since we didn’t want to paint the house or use wallpaper (which I totally plan to do with this guest room once we move!Stay tuned for more home reveals and updates (I’ll definitely reshoot this guest room once it’s alllll decked out in our new home!)

Coastal Guest Bedroom Progress

I am very excited to share my coastal guest bedroom progress with you today, even though it isn’t fully finished!As promised, today I’m sharing some of the progress I’ve made in our charming coastal guest bedroom.A few months back I shared this coastal bedroom design board to show how I wanted to update the space.

The windows face the street so they definitely need full coverage at times.

I’m definitely loving how much more open this side feels though now that the EXPEDIT is gone!

Summer Guest Bedroom Refresh

I am sharing my summer guest bedroom updates that have a very coastal serene vibe!Starting next week, our third round of summer guest arrivals begins and as you know, we’ve had a full house the past few weeks as well!

For my striped walls, the gray was my base color and the white was the stripe I added over the top afterwards.

I was in our local Crate & Barrel outlet store recently and stumbled upon this blue and white reversible duvet cover that they were selling for under $100!I immediately had the guest bedroom in mind for this beautiful coastal and patriotic-looking duvet cover.
