This month’s theme on Ryobi Nation is Hidden Gems and I have just the project in mind.I’ve been wanting to update my coffee table to the farmhouse style, but I need some hidden storage for remotes, art supplies and homework papers.

The coffee table seems to be my kids’ focal point for playing and activities.

This time we decided to add some hidden storage to the DIY coffee table plans!The coffee table is 60” wide, 36.25” deep, and 16” tall, which means there is plenty of storage inside.

Step: 4 Create the carcass for your table by attaching your side panels to the back panel of the table with pocket hole screws and glue.Step: 5 Once your top and bottom panels have dried, attach them to your table carcass with corner brackets.

Step: 3 Cut 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” notches in 2 corners of 2 - 42 ½” boards.

Inset the skirt boards 1” from the outside of the leg, and make the skirt and leg tops flush.
