Bohemian Vintage Wardrobe Hand Painted in Sante Fe Turquoise

I have to almost push myself out to the garage to paint during the months of July & August.The colors I chose are Sante Fe Turquoise, otherwise, known as the prettiest turquoise EVER.I also used Windsor Blue and a tiny bit of Pueblo Pepper.That red you see is Pueblo Pepper, also by CeCe Caldwell Paints.This piece sat in a store for weeks and weeks.

I really love how this colorful boho painted table turned out!To appreciate how far this table has come, just look at how I found it at my local Habitat ReStore.

Before we get into the details of this colorful boho painted table, here are the supplies I used to achieve this look.When I was cleaning, my rags were turning a brown-red color which is an indication of a bleeder (meaning the wood color might bleed through the paint).

On the second coat, I painted the pink at the bottom and some Apricot in the middle.

Debi's Design Diary DIY Paint

I’ve been wanting to do a put an IOD Furniture Transfer on one of my dressers and this was just the right size for the job.I wanted a layered base of blue and greens so I brushed on Mermaid Tail and Mint Chip, blending them together with each stroke.Once the paint had completely dried, I applied one coat of DIY’s Big Top Topcoat to seal the dresser and prepare the surface to accept the IOD Transfer.IOD transfers adhere much better if there you apply a coat of topcoat prior to adhering the transfer.To recreate this look, you’ll need:Mermaid Tail, Mint Chip, Bohemian Blue, Queen Bee, Big Top Top Coat, Clear Wax, Dark Wax and White Wax.
