Do It Yourself (DIY)

(I purchased three 1′ x 3′ rectangular sized foam and cut it into nine 1′ x 1′ squares.)(I purchased two 60″ x 3′ style fabrics of the same pattern but with inverted colors.)

Since I had a total of nine foam squares, I cut 5 squares of one fabric and 4 of the other to create a checkerboard effect.

Glue the fabric onto the foam squares leaving the cardboard side exposed.In total I spent $40 to create the display ($20 foam, $16 fabric, and $4 glue; the rest I had lying around the house).

Making a foam board coffin

The main material in the coffin is foam board — 17 sheets total.I designed the coffin in Photoshop based on how large each sheet of foam board is: 20″x30″.

After adding the black lines, I brought the foam board pieces outside to stain with wood stain.It’s very important to flatten out the finished foam board pieces for a day or two before assembling everything.

My finished coffin is actually a bit oversized; I designed my specs based on the size of the foam board sheets I was using (30″x20″) rather than actually researching real coffin dimensions.

I made these folded cards on a whim last week and wanted to share my DIY for making stamps with craft foam!Supplies Needed to Make Stamps with Craft Foam~ Craft foam (any color is fine, I usually get white)~ Lids, cords, bottle tops, or small pieces of cardboard~ Pencil~ Scissors~ Hot glue gun~ Pigment stamp pads~ Paper (I used sulphite paper but you can use any paper you have)~ Small tray~ Washi tape or painters tapeWatch this video tutorial!How to Make Stamps with Craft Foam1.

You don’t want to contaminate the ink pads by switching colors with a stamp, so just keep it 1:1.If you don’t have ink pads, you can use paint.
