Staircase Mirror Gallery Wall DIY

For a long time, my MIL has wanted to create a gallery wall of mirrors going up the stairs.STEP 3: Start at the bottom with a larger mirror and trace it on the wall with chalk.

To make sure we liked the order before we started screwing anything in, I traced each mirror shape onto the wall with chalk.

I didn’t want the same finish or shape to be next to each other at any point in the gallery wall.

I still want to make an adjustment to the small rectangular mirror at the top of this gallery wall — lowering it and turning it on its side.

Euro Trash at home..

I don't know about you but I completely fell for this space in the latest issue of House Beautiful.This is the home of Annie Brahler from Euro Trash .I came across their site last week and put it together with some of my favorite images from around the web.

Funny note.. this is the second time I have seen a LV bag used in the photos of a house.

Love that- mostly because this is the bag I have been sweet on for a while...

Hang mirror horizontally or vertically?

I purchased the Eagan mirror from Pottery Barn to hang on my stair landing.The mirror measures 44" x 55" and the beige painted portion of the stair landing measures 89"w x 92"h (almost square).

In the picture I have the mirror outline in the horizontal position with it centered on the wall.

Which position do you think would look best - horizontal or vertical?

Advice for placement of wall sconces in stairwell

My husband and I are building a home and I am having the stairwell pre-wired for wall sconces.Is there a general rule of thumb on the height of a stairwell sconce?

They are mostly for aesthetics and not to light up the stairwell.

My end goal is to have a nice flow looking up from the bottom of the stairwell.
