I’m sharing all the tips and ideas to make your table fun and festive. Today’s Luau is part of our monthly Supper Club series. When I was planning the Luau Party Table Decor, I was inspired by these tropical napkins.
This was easily accomplished with a trip to the Dollar Tree where I not only found grass skirts but lai’s for the guest.
Since this was a Luau themed party and not something I would be repeating on a regular basis, I wanted to be budget minded. Then using straight pins from the underneath side of the fabric attach the shirts along the edge of the tabletop.
I began with a tall ironstone pitcher and added a bundle of faux eucalyptus stems. Lastly, I added a real pineapple beside the pitcher to complete the centerpiece.
Since the placemats are a statement piece on the table, I opted for simple white ironstone plates.
To add some warm touches to the tablescape, gold and acrylic cutlery was added. Both the green goblets and wine glasses are thrift store finds. In addition, you can create a more tropical feel by adding ferns and other greenery around the landscape and beside the table.
To give the setting a vacation feel, the table is in the garden area next to the pool. Up next is Libbie at Life Unfolding with her Quick and Easy Tropical Tablescape.
