Today, I want to share with you Nina’s tropical bridal shower that myself and two other friends hosted at my house! Our lovely bride spent the first decade of her life living in Honolulu, Hawaii so a tropical bridal shower was super important to her.
For decorations, we welcomed Nina and her guests with a letter board that says ‘ALOHA’ and some colorful leis. In true Hawaiian fashion, we couldn’t host this tropical bridal shower without ono grindz (delicious eats in Pidgin). Next to the Rainbow cake, we showcased some fruit platters we made with pineapple, strawberries and watermelons. Lastly, for drinks, I made this fun tropical mimosa bar with loads of champagne, orange juice, and berries.
Like I mentioned above, we taped Hawaiian flowers to these champagne flutes for a true tropical bridal shower! I also made the mimosa sign that says “Pour some bubble, add some juice, top with fruit, cheers!”
The first tropical bridal shower game we played involved string, bananas, and oranges.
We split into four teams of four, and the objective of the game was to get the orange to the finish line using the dangling banana tied to our waists.
