I’m so excited to be joining Tana and the other talented bloggers sharing their homes all decked for Christmas today! When it was time to renovate the OC Ranch, I wanted to revamp Andy’s fairly small bedroom a bit.
Turn on your JavaScript to view content There used to be a queen bed in his room, but I decided that two twins were probably more useful this time around. That way, if kids or older teens were staying…or even two adults…they wouldn’t necessarily have to share a bed. I have several drawers built into the closet in this room, and since no one is living in here long term, I decided a cute chest in between the beds was a better use of space than trying to fit a dresser.
A whimsical collection of trees and a little ceramic house are fun decor pieces for this room. The black and rattan task lamps are the perfect addition to this beachy room year round. The rug, quilts, duvet covers and throws are all a white or beige/tan which works well with the greige walls and natural wood ceiling.
The room is too small for footboards, so these are a nice way to kind of finish the end of the bed.
It’s really amazing how some greenery and a few simple decor pieces can transform a room and make it look all ready for Christmas! No matter how inexpensive the pillow cover, with the right insert, it’ll look WAY more high end.
If your family is anything like mine, we like to actually LAY on our throw pillows, not just stare at them looking pretty on the bed or couch.
