Well, the duct tape didn't work so I knew it was time to toss it and come up with something new. But this time I wanted something that would stand up straight and hold my shoes.
It's hard to describe how to assemble the pieces so I am hoping that this picture will explain it. Each section is the same except an area near the top and the bottom that will secure the front and the back together as pictured below. This height spacing worked good for me, however, if you have taller shoes I would suggest making your 4" pvc pipes a bit longer to give more room between each "shelf". I hate making anything permanent knowing that I may want something different in a year or 2 and this worked out perfectly!
Well, the duct tape didn't work so I knew it was time to toss it and come up with something new. * I did have some spare 1/2" pvc pipe at home as well for a few screw ups. What size you make yours will depend on how much room you have or where you want to place so your organizer lengths and amounts may vary from mine, but you can see how I put mine together.I cut all of my 10' pipes down into the following:8 - 2' pieces4 - 6" pieces20 - 4" pieces16 - 2" piecesThen I started to assemble my PVC pipe shoe organizer.
