Part two of my living room furniture make over. I just moved to NC, and decided to paint every piece of furniture in the house to give my home a fresh beach-y vibe (I move from Florida to North Carolina and now I decide to go for a FULL beach look)!
Side Note: I started decorating my home with a beach theme last year. The boys have just beat that thing up and wanted to toss it many times and buy a new one!
When I grabbed the mint color chalk paint for my sofa table, I also grabbed a few bottles of this antique white. Luckily, I had a can of Annie Sloan wax already (thanks mom), I’ll use that to seal it in.
With chalk paint, you really don’t have to prep the piece too much. I just made sure to wipe the table down GOOD before I started painting. This part really depends on how MUCH or little of a distressed look you want to achieve.
Since I'm going for a more beach themed look I added some decorative shells to the table. I was trying to get my pictures when my boys decided to photo bomb the shoot. Working on these chalk paint projects have been LOTS of fun.
