Today I am going to show you how to make some pretty DIY Five Minute French Country Lavender Pots. These adorable pots are so easy to put together and you can make several for under ten dollars.
I always love to shop Dollar Tree for gardening supplies and anything I can use for farmhouse or French Country crafts. When I spotted some pretty faux lavender wrapped in burlap, I bought several right up.
Update: There are varying sizes of these pots at different Dollar Trees depending on the region. The Dollar Tree website only offers the 2 .25 inch pots, which is not large enough to fit the lavender.
If you cannot find the 3″ size at Dollar Tree to fit the lavender, you can also find the right size at your local Dollar General 6 for $1, or on Amazon at varying prices. It only takes a few minutes for the paint to dry and then you can simply stick the lavender down in the pots. I used a foam brush to lightly apply my Deco Art Americana Decor Chalky Finish Chalk Paint in the Everlasting shade (white). Deco Art ADC-01 Americana Chalky Finish Paint, 8-Ounce, Everlasting I wanted the pots to look really natural so I used some Dollar Tree Spanish moss to fill in the sparse areas between the lavender stems and to cover any bare spots. It only took about five minutes to make these inexpensive DIY French Country lavender pots, and they are so pretty!
Inexpensive + Quick + Easy + Pretty = My kind of craft project! I finished up my pots just in time for the Vintage Easter Joys Blog Hop.
Here is how I styled my pretty French Country lavender pots in my Bright and Festive Easter Joys vignettes.
These sweet pots are beautiful little vignette accents for spring and summer decor. This week I am working on a basket for my mom for Mother’s Day, and I can’t wait to share a post all about it. Of course you can always order directly from Dollar Tree online and get great deals on craft supplies in bulk.
