Today I am going to share with you all the pretty pictures, then I will follow-up next week with all the sources, details, projects etc. I am sure we will also paint it and we need to have a light junction box installed so we can hang her chandelier. All in all, at this point this decor is essentially “rental decor” as nothing is permanent–a few gold vinyl polkadots and some tissue poms go along way to making a white space feel much more exciting and fun. {available HERE, and my second choice is HERE} I didn’t have a clear idea of where I was going with it–I just knew I really wanted to use it, it’s fresh and fun, just like my daughter!
So, I started by making her Art Board at the beginning of summer using the fabric, you can see it HERE. OK, actually, my wonderful mother made that great pillow for her bed, isn’t it darling?
I sprayed her formerly white furniture a bright pink with my awesome HomeRight FinishMax Pro paint sprayer–that was fun and easy! Her furniture was not expensive and we’ll probably replace it when she is a bit older so I had no problem picking a bright pink paint and going to town with the sprayer. And, open the drawers and surprise–some shelf paper {similar pattern available here} makes them even more fun!
Here is the other side of the bed, we just used some gold and pink wrapping paper from HomeGoods to brighten up the back of her plain white bookcase.
This was an easy fix for a plain piece of furniture, just wrapping paper and double-sided tape! If you make a purchase after clicking on these links, we will earn a small commission, which helps to keep our content free.
