Easy Craft Idea: Recycled Can and Mason Jar Vases and Centerpieces Weather you buy them in a store or pick them from your garden, they liven up any room. Another “must”… I don’t know about you but I am always saving spaghetti sauce jars. I did a very simple upcycle that can be completed in minutes.

Be sure to smooth it on applying pressure with your fingers to remove any air bubbles. Pro Tip: Use a credit card edge to apply pressure on painter’s tape. Next, after you tape them off, cover the area you do not want painted with newspaper.

The colors I chose and pictured here are: Krylon’s Blue Ocean Breeze and Citrus Green . Lastly, I sprayed on one coat on each side outside in the back yard. One coat was perfect and only took fifteen minutes to dry.

This project is great because you can play around with the colors to fit any style, holiday, or special occasion. I filled them with colorful inexpensive flowers I got from the grocery store. These are fun and simple paper projects you can use for crafts, gift wrapping, or home and party decor.
