Daydreaming about this inspired me to come up with a sunny Sunflower-Themed First Birthday Party, using a cheery yellow and pink color scheme. On the floor, I set up a stack of fillable giant white “BABY” blocks, which I filled with more yellow balloons.

I used a white table with a pink gingham runner, and clear acrylic stands which I filled with faux sunflowers. I used a small “1” balloon and a faux flower as an easy backdrop for a pretty pastel pink cake.

To the side of the dessert table, I set up a high chair for the guest of honor with her very own smash cake on it. Behind this, I used my bright yellow grid wall to hang adorable sunflower sunglasses party favors underneath a wooden “Hello Sunshine’ sign.

Then, each place received a plastic wine glass and a precious little sunflower favor box filled with treats. I also gave each child’s seat a flower crown, a cupcake, a pink striped bag of take-home treats, and a sunflower-shaped lollipop.
