Few improvements prepare your home for sale better than a fresh coat of neutral paint. You can sit in front of a screen for hours reading experts’ opinions, looking at pictures, and render yourself unable to make a decision.
After looking at thousands of real estate listing photos and seeing almost as many homes, as well as being in many consultations with home staging and design professionals, I’ve come up with the two best neutral paint colors.
I like the way it looks with darker woods and works well in a more traditional home interior.
White Dove paired with Accessible Beige is a classic combination. This is the ideal greige color: gray without being over-committed, with lots of beige and taupe to make it a fabulous cool neutral.
Watch Kylie M Interiors’ review of Accessible Beige where she compares it to Agreeable Gray (SW 7029). Please keep in mind that if your house receives more of or less than an average amount of light, or your furnishings aren’t neutral, then you will need a color consultation from a staging or design professional.
